We’re bringing Tennis Levels & Tennis Match-making to Nettla, giving tennis players the same skill-based structure and social matchmaking that’s already proven popular in padel.

How it works

• A clear level scale – Levels run from 1.00 to 7.00, split into named categories from Newcomer through to Expert, each with its own description so players can see exactly where they sit and what the next step up looks like
• Self-assessment to start – New players choose their starting level from the category descriptions, giving match-making a sensible baseline from day one
• Singles and doubles – Levels apply across both singles and doubles matches, so players get fair match-making whichever way they like to play
• Admin control – Admins can set a player’s original level directly if they don’t already have one, and adjust a player’s level at any time
• Two sports, two levels – For the clubs that offer both tennis and padel, a player can hold a level for each sport independently, so someone new to tennis isn’t matched above their ability just because they’re a strong padel player

Why this feature matters

Padel has always had a level system and matches that make it easy for players to find a game with someone new at a similar standard. Tennis hasn’t had the same tools, which is part of why match-making and matches are far less common on the tennis side today. Tennis Levels & Tennis Match-making brings that same social, come-and-play culture to tennis, making it easier for players to find a fair, well-matched game and helping tennis clubs build a stronger, more connected community on court.
