Target audiences for announcements

We’ve expanded the announcements feature so admins can now target club news at specific groups rather than the entire player base. Whether it’s a particular membership type or another cohort you’ve set up, you can make sure the right message reaches the right players — and only the players it’s relevant to.

How it works

• Create club announcements just as you do today
• Choose to target an announcement at specific membership types or other cohorts your club has set up
• Reach only the players a message is relevant to, instead of everyone
• Keep using club-wide announcements whenever something is meant for all players

Why this feature matters

Not every update is relevant to every player. A note about a members’ night, a junior programme, or a premium membership perk only matters to the people it applies to — and sending it to everyone can create noise that makes players tune out. Targeted announcements keep communication relevant and respectful of players’ attention, so the messages that do land feel meaningful. Over time that means higher engagement and a player base that actually reads what you send.
